How to Reset Average Salt Level After a Cell Replacement

  1. Switch to "Off," then back to "Auto," and wait 5–10 seconds for the reading to refresh.
  2. Press the diagnostics button to switch the display to instant salt level mode, and wait for the number to stabilize.
  3. Once the instant salt level is stable and negative, switch to "Super Chlorinate," then back to "Auto."
  4. It takes about 30 seconds for the unit to settle back to the new average reading.
  5. Repeat this process once more to ensure both polarities are reading within 500 ppm of each other.

Seasonal Opening Checklist

  • Test and adjust salinity, pH, total alkalinity, and stabilizer
  • Check the cell surface for scaling; clean with diluted acid solution if needed
  • Confirm the flow switch is working properly and there's no air trapped in the lines
  • Inspect all O-ring seals for wear or deformation
